MIOO is growing and we are now looking for professional bike mechanics to join us for a full time work in London.
Mioo is a start-up that aims to make bike maintenance and mechanics as convenient as possible to city cyclists, we believe that by making bike ownership as easy as possible we can encourage more people to commute by bike. To achieve this we offer mobile bike servicing to the customers house through our app and provide corporate events that are free to clients staff.
In our second year in the UK, we are expanding our operational range across London and looking to divide the city into sections with full time mechanics in different areas. We are looking for self sufficient, London based Bike mechanics who don’t mind cycling around the city.
About the Job:
- Largely performing services and managing bookings oneself in your area
- Occasional B2B events with NHS Trusts and our corporate clients
- Occasionally onboarding new part time bike fixers in your area
- Quarterly socials, BBQs and rides for the team to meet up
- Must be available full time but workings hours are flexible. Weekly hours will range from 15 to 40 hours per week depending on bookings.
- Proposed start date: June 2022 and beyond.
Essential skills:
- Competent bicycle mechanic
- Customer services experience
Beneficial skills:
- Experience as courier or with cycling around the city
- Knowledge of bike specifications and component compatibility
- Experience teaching others bicycle mechanics
- Interest in joining MIOOs journey and helping more people discover the ease of bikes!
